by Lewis O`connell, Grade 5, VIC, thanks for story to Write4fun.net
Once upon a time there where three grown up lambs that lived on a farm. One day their Mother nagged,
“You are getting too old and I want you to leave me so you can have a happy time by your selves.”
So the three grown up lambs collected their coats and left. The first grown up lamb Flopsy, built a house out of aluminium and the second lamb built a house out of plywood and the third lamb constructed his own house out of corrugated iron.
The three grown up lambs where quite enjoying their lives until one day a hungry fox arrived at the first grown up lamb’s house.
“ Let me in, let me in, or I’ll push your house down,” said the hungry fox ,
“ Not by the mole of my chinny chin, chin.”
So he pushed and he pushed the grown up lamb’s house down. Then the lamb ran like a bullet to his brother’s house and the greedy fox said,
“ let me in, let me in, or I’ll kick and I’ll kick your house down.”
So the angry greedy fox kicked and he kicked the lamb’s house down and the two lambs bolted to their brother’s house.
Eventually the tired bored fox came across the third lamb’s house,
“Let me in, let me in or I’ll huff and I’ll puff and blow your house down. “
So he huffed and he puffed but he could not blow the third house down but he spotted they had a doggy door. (The lambs had already put a piece of wood there). So the fox ran into the doggy door and hit his face on the piece of wood and the fox bolted away and never came back and the lambs lived happily ever after.
